Sunday School
ECC Sunday School meets at 9am on Sunday during school term time. Children from age 3 to Year 6 are welcome.Our aim on Sunday morning is to teach and encourage children through Bible study and interesting activities so that they will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and then continue to grow in the Christian faith.
Our morning programme usually begins with a hands-on activity designed to highlight a concept from the day’s lessons. Children join in as they arrive. We then have a combined time of singing, sharing and memory verse learning.
We divide into three classes for our lesson time. These groups (Pre-school and Kinder to Year 2 and Year 3 to Year 6) provide time for age appropriate lessons and an opportunity for building relationships.
We finish at 9.45am so that we are ready for the Morning Service at 10am.
During the Morning Service there is a Children’s Talk which complements the sermon.
